No, our tool is designed for your customer and it is fully self-serve, your team does not need to manage any claims or chase down reimbursement checks. The customer is able to submit their own claim, and is directly reimbursed by the vision insurance plans.

Each vision plan’s out-of-network coverage varies, so it depends on which individual plan your customer has. However, on average, out-of-network claims will cover $100 for frames and lenses, and similar for contact lenses.
Processing times for each vision insurance provider varies, typically your customer will see their reimbursement in 2-3 weeks.
Your vision insurance will cover prescription frames and lenses, but some items like accessories or non-prescription sunglasses will not be covered. We’ve made it easy for you to find eligible items, simply look for the eligibility flag for each product when shopping.
